Stockholm based label ACNE was founded in 1996 as a creative consultancy with the ‘Ambition to Create Novel Expressions’ through fashion, entertainment and technology.

The brand was kickstarted into the spotlight after a word of mouth campaign where co-founder Jonny Johansson designed and gave 100 pairs of jeans to friends and acquaintances. Fashion media tripped over itself to get the story, and some jeans, snowballing Acne into mainstream popularity. With a maiden collection in 1998, Acne has refined their look over the last decade and now produce some of the finest Scandinvian pieces, together they 'form the coolest wardrobe, but are ultimately wearable individually'
