This creative partnership deep dives into adidas' vast archive of vintage styles, focusing on reinterpreting iconic silhouettes from the 70s and 80s while drawing on Wales Bonner's research into the historical music and photography of Burkina Faso and West Africa. The WB Country pays homage to a key silhouette, the adidas Country, rewriting it in new distinctive colourways through the lens of music, movement, and texture. The shoes are refined with hand-stitched details on the tongue and heel, golden Trefoil branding, suede detailing, jacquard laces, and a satin inner lining.
